Right of withdrawal

When you buy a piece at a distance (via this website, WhatsApp, email or phone), you have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason, under Portuguese Decree-Law no. 24/2014.

The period runs from the day after you, or a third party you name other than the carrier, receive the piece. It is enough to send us your statement before the period ends.

If you withdraw, we will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of the day we are informed of your decision. We use the same means of payment you used, unless expressly agreed otherwise, and you will not incur any fees for the refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the piece back or you have supplied evidence of having sent it, whichever is earlier.

You must send the piece back within 14 days of the day you tell us of your decision. You bear the direct cost of returning it. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the piece.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement, for example by email to info@crochecomxama.pt, or use the model form below.

Exception for personalised pieces. Pieces made to your specifications or clearly personalised (for example with colours, sizes or details you chose) cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal (Article 17(1)(c) of Decree-Law no. 24/2014). Before we start a personalised order, we always tell you that this applies.

Model withdrawal form

Wording of the model form in Annex I(B) to Directive 2011/83/EU. The official version in Portugal is the Portuguese one (Decree-Law no. 24/2014, Annex, Part B).

Guarantee

All pieces are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for 3 years from delivery (Article 12 of Portuguese Decree-Law no. 84/2021). A lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery is presumed to have existed at delivery (Article 13). To exercise your rights, tell us about the lack of conformity, for example by email; these rights expire 2 years after you notify us (Article 17).
